Sept 27th- 29th Blog

This is my second post for the same week, because i posted my first one, got an error afterwards, and lost it all, it never posted and I lost my whole blog. Now i do not feel like re-typing the blog, but i have to.
Well, this week i installed aim, display controls, and entered in my whole schedule for the Men's Forum group. Aim is great on our pocket pcs, it is quick and basically you can carry on a conversation at almost the same pace as you do on your laptop. The transcriber makes it simple, transcribing whole sentences is very easy and quick. I found wireless at Harvard square and used it to chat with some of my friends while i waited for the shuttle. I also had to re-install the display controls because i lost all data on my pocket pc, i had to perform the hard reset, which wasn;t fun at all. It took a while to get everything back on, but luckily as before, i had it n'sync with my laptop. I took snap shots of my pocket pc screens to post on the website, which is still quite raw but it should be good. It will definetly be a reflection of who i am.
I did find a, which is registered to another behzad, a website mostly dedicated to himself. I didnt look but i am sure i could find a domain name close to my name. Personally though, i would never register it, i mean i would create a nice website, but i would rarely update it, so there is no point. Plus, it costs money to register a domain name with .com or similar. You know us college kids, we need to pay tuition, every penny counts.

Sept 20th and 22nd IT Blog

Life with my pocket PC has been great, it has really helped me. It also saved me from missing an important meeting, these things are great. I did have a problem with mine, it kept freezing so i needed to do a hard reset, thus losing all my memory, which wasn't fun. I was fortunate to have it syncronized with my laptop, because once i plugged it in, it automatically restored my schedule which was great. Now i constantly back up my pocket pc to make sure i don'r have any problems in the future.
I have many things in store for my pocket pc, i'm going to use it on the road, when i need movie times, or check weather and sports. Also i hope they have some sort of gps technology that will be availible for pocket pcs, so i can use it for directions as well. I believe i will be using my pocket pc constantly, just taking notes, keeping me schedule, staying organized, and just having fun. I am really glad i took this course to be able to have this experience.

Sept.13 - 15 IT 101 Blog

The class is going well. I have been learning alot. I signed up for IT 101 to learn more, I have a basic understanding of information technology, and I believe this intensive course will help further my understanding. I also have started using my pocket PC, which I love. It is a great piece of technology and is exactly what I needed to help me stay organized. Also it has many useful features, and it substitutes as an mp3 player. I have a 256mb SD card that I going to fill with music, it is going to be great. I really am enjoying my pocket PC.
I did scan my computer for spyware and adware, and I was amazed I found so many hidden files. I have also been keeping up with disk clean up and defragmentation, to make the computer run smoothly. The adware software is really great, and I would recommend it to everyone. But besides that the laptops have been great, no problems yet, and I try to keep up with backing up my documents.
